share. So I've been tempted to multiclass into a caster of some kind, with the idea that I could start with some control or AoE spell, then dip into combat.

The swashbuckler is probably one of the best classes to dip into IF YOURE PLAYING ANOTHER CLASS. To best utilize this multiclass, take at least 3 levels in Druid. Sort by. Any thoughts? Best way to build multiclass of swashbuckler and battlemaster. Feat wise, I either want to improve my martial combat with Martial Adept or dual wield with a parrying dagger. You have to ask yourself are you a Swashbuckler or a "x" because level dipping away from swashbuckler is not optimized. If anyone has any advice on what to build it would be a great help.

Prerequisite: Dexterity 13 and Wisdom 13 : Level 1 Proficiencies: Simple weapons, shortswords: Monks and Rangers have been tangled together as the worst class in 5E. Being a Swashbuckler Rogue they have some great abilities so unless you really want to multiclass, I recommend to stick to Rogue.
