Many have referred to him as America’s pastor, and for good reason. Billy Graham is by far the greatest evangelist in history.
If we want to evangelize like Jesus, we need to do the same. In his earthly ministry he was the light of the world, the one who always lived in a way that was pleasing to his Father. We tend to think of Jesus as the Great Shepherd or Pastor, or as the Great Priest, as the Great Apostle of our faith, as the Great Teacher, as the Greatest Prophet of them all. He was responsible for bringing tens of millions of souls to Christ through his many crusades all over Africa, India and Asia.
His life and ministry was dedicated to furthering the cause of the gospel.
Evangelism is our great calling — to proclaim and minister and live out this Gospel for the salvation of others.
