The building was fully restored largely to Mackintosh's original designs between 2014 and 2018. The building is from 1903 and it’s just amazing to know that for this building, the architect had complete control over the design, from the exterior to the interior -and even the cutlery and waitresses’ dresses! The building is due to reopen in time for the 150th anniversary of Charles Rennie Mackintosh's birth in June 2018.
